Baby Yoda: Character Model
I had been fancying a return to using ZBrush and character modelling for a while. After a week of getting back up to speed with ZBrush software, watching many FlippedNormals tutorials and finally buying myself a half-decent graphics tablet, I decided to attempt a full body sculpt of a character.
In order to focus on refining my sculpting and texturing skills, I wanted to work on a character with lots of existing reference, eventually narrowing the shortlist down to two Disney-owned characters; Baby Yoda and Baby Groot. The ensuing Instagram vote between who to work on resulted in a tie and so choosing to disappoint half, I voted for Baby Yoda.
