Seasons greetings! Continuing my run of personal projects I wanted to create an atmospheric Christmas scene with all the elements I like about this time of year, in particular, the sense of bittersweet and melancholy portrayed in films like The Snowman and more recently Klaus. Inspired by the curved wood of Viking ships, I wanted to tap in to the idea that this lonely house has a mythical quality. This was also a challenge to create more stylised textures for the wood and stone. I even composed my own music for this one!
