Therapeutic Momentum: Animations
During a period of furlough leave, I wanted to revisit simple 3D rigging and animation principles. Whilst experiencing a period of uncertainty, I felt it would be therapeutic to create loops based on things that were fundamentally relaxing. It also allowed me an opportunity to learn some basic modelling in Blender.
Inspired by the art of wannerstedt, pendulum paintings and a Newton's Cradle, I designed these 'devices' that showcased clean, satisfying motion.
